The 17th Century

The London of the 17th Century was significantly different to the London we know today.   Isaac the Blacksmith would have had a limited life span as would Mary Humphries and their Children.  This series of articles will deal with the  17th Century from the Commonwealth under Oliver Cromwell, Lord Protector and up to the turn of the century when the Ferdinand(o) story begins in earnest.
